Yuya Osako capped his marvelous 2023 season with Konami Player of the Month for November and December.
Osako saved his best for last, playing at his best to win Vissel Kobe their very first Meiji Yasuda J1 League title. He scored from nearly half-field deep into stoppage time to beat Urawa Reds in Matchweek 32, preserving Vissel’s lead atop the table.
The next matchday, Osako made two gorgeous passes for assists to beat Nagoya Grampus, 2-1, and clinch the league for Vissel.
