The J.League on Wednesday announced the trial of a new stadium navigation app at Saturday’s FUJI XEROX SUPER CUP 2017 between Kashima Antlers and Urawa Reds at Yokohama’s Nissan Stadium.
Created by tournament sponsor NTT Docomo, the software is part of an ongoing project by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism’s National Spatial Planning and Regional Policy Bureau to develop precision guidance technology for indoor and outdoor areas.
The app will provide fans direct navigation to their seat including the fastest available routes, as well as guidance to concourse shops and restrooms.
