Matsumoto Yamaga on Wednesday announced the signing of former Wigan midfielder Kim Bo-kyung.

The 25-year-old, who has 32 caps for South Korea, had played for Oita Trinita and Cerezo Osaka before joining Cardiff in 2012.

“I’m really happy to have come to Matsumoto,” Kim commented, who came off a six-month spell at Wigan earlier this year, said. 

“I want to demonstrate my abilities and contribute to good results for the club. Thank you for your support.”

Kim’s signing will be a boost for Yasuharu Sorimachi’s men, who are seeking to stave off relegation in their maiden MEIJI YASUDA J1 League campaign.
