Jubilo striker Yuki Nakamura retires

Jubilo Iwata have announced the retirement of striker Yuki Nakamura.

The 29-year-old spent most of his career in Europe, playing in Romania, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, before joining FC Gifu in 2013.

He netted a total of two goals from 25 J2 League appearances, notably scoring a hat trick for Jubilo in last year’s Emperor’s Cup.

“I accomplished this playing career with the help of many people, all of whom i want to thank,” Nakamura said.

“I’m glad that I could finish my career at such a famous local club.”
