Nagoya Grampus summer signing Jakub Świerczok joined up with his new club in mid-August and it did not take long for him to grab headlines. Not only did he deliver his side a win on Matchweek 25 against Avispa Fukuoka, he did it in stunning fashion.

The Poland international came off the bench and received a ball just outside the box with his back to goal in the 49th minute. A couple touches and feint later, he turned inside and hit a magnificent curler that blew past all the defenders and goalkeeper before finding a home just inside the post.

In J2, it was the legendary Yasuhito Endo who won Goal of the Month. The man with more caps than anyone in the history of the Japan national team also struck in Matchweek 25. He stepped up to a free kick just outside the box and hit it perfectly into the top corner to give Júbilo Iwata a lead.

Júbilo would not hold onto the victory, but Endo’s goal was a beautiful piece of work by the icon.

In J3, the honors went to Junki Goryo of Kagoshima United FC, whose terrific set of ‘one-twos’ with teammates gave him the space to blast home powerfully from close range against Kamatamare Sanuki.
