FC Tokyo gave up an early goal to Honda FC, only to rebound in the second half with goals by Shoya Nakajima and Sei Muroya in a 2-1 win.
Omiya Ardija needed a timely penalty kick by Akihiro Ienaga in the 89th minute to sneak past Yokohama FC with a 1-0 result.
Gamba Osaka needed even longer to get past Shimizu S-Pulse, with Shun Nagasawa scoring the lone goal of the match in the second half of extra time.
The remaining five fixtures of the round will take place on Saturday, November 12.
