The second leg of the J2-J3 Promotion-Relegation Playoff took place on Sunday at Toyama Athletic Stadium.

Zweigen Kanazawa retained their spot in the second division following a 2-0 win over Tochigi SC.

The J2 representatives came into the match with a 1-0 advantage following last weekend’s first leg, extending their aggregate lead to 3-0 following two goals by Keiya Nakami in the 34th and 69th minutes.

The result means that Zweigen will spend a third straight season in the J2, while Tochigi must face a second year in the J3.
