Vissel Kobe defender Kunie Kitamoto will miss one month of action in order to recover from a fractured cheekbone, his club announced on Thursday.
The 34-year-old suffered the injury during Vissel’s 4-1 win against FC Tokyo last Saturday in the eighth round of the MEIJI YASUDA J1 League Second Stage.
Kitamoto has made over 350 league appearances for Vissel, including 14 this season.
