Ventforet Kofu on Monday announced a tentative agreement for Brazilian striker Wilson to join the club in 2017.

The 31-year-old has spent the last five seasons at Vegalta Sendai, scoring a total of 40 goals in 128 appearances and making the 2012 J.League Best XI.

“I’m grateful for the opportunity to wear Ventforet’s emblem on my chest next season,” Wilson said. 

“I’m working hard to improve my condition so that I can earn good results. I look forward to joining our fans and giving my best on the pitch, and I hope I’ll have your support.”
