The J.League on Thursday confirmed a two-game suspension for Albirex Niigata midfielder Romero Frank to be served at the start of the 2017 MEIJI YASUDA J1 League season.
The midfielder was sent off after being shown two yellow cards in the 42nd and final round of the 2016 MEIJI YASUDA J2 League as a member of Mito Hollyhock.
As it was his second red card of the season, Romero will sit out two matches in accordance with the Japan Football Association’s disciplinary bylaws.
The Peruvian has played in Japan since 2007, graduating from Ryutsu Keizai University before playing for Hollyhock as well as Montedio Yamagata.
