Sanfrecce Hiroshima youngster Soya Takahashi revealed his delight after signing a ‘Pro A’ contract with the club on Monday.
The deal comes after the versatile 19-year-old, who can play anywhere along the left flank, reached the league minimum of 450 minutes played this season.
The teenage achieved the mark during his full appearance against Roasso Kumamoto in the third round of the 2015 Emperor’s Cup.
“I’m incredibly happy to have signed this Pro A contract,” Takahashi commented. “I want to continue to improve so that I can bring joy to the stadium with my play.”
Takahashi made his first-team debut for the club this season, making four full appearances in the group stage of the 2015 Yamazaki Nabisco Cup.
