Sanfrecce Hiroshima midfielder Mihael Mikic will miss the next four weeks after injuring his right hamstring, the club announced on Wednesday.
The injury occurred during training on June 3, according to the release.
The 36-year-old has one goal in 13 appearances this season for the defending MEIJI YASUDA J1 League champions.
Mikic’s lone strike to date was the winner over Albirex Niigata in April, gifting Sanfrecce three precious points in what has been a woeful season to date.
