Sagan Tosu on Monday announced several injuries which could keep key players out through the upcoming international break and beyond.
Ace striker Yohei Toyoda will be out for three to four weeks after suffering a collapsed lung, while midfielder Hiroyuki Taniguchi will miss five months after severely damaging the cartilage in his left knee.
Meanwhile, attacker Yuji Ono and backup goalkeeper Taku Akahoshi will both sit out three weeks after injuring their left hamstrings.
With title-chasers Gamba Osaka awaiting them at Suita Stadium on May 20, Sagan are currently in 11th place with 15 points.
