The sixth and final match day of the 2016 AFC Champions League Group Stage began on Tuesday night, with two J.League teams participating in their final matches of the round.
A late Zlatan penalty kick allowed Urawa Reds to salvage a 1-1 draw against K-League side Pohang Steelers as they finished second in the group behind Sydney FC.
The Reds will face FC Seoul in the Round of 16.
Meanwhile, Gamba Osaka finished the group stage without a win after falling 2-1 at Melbourne Victory.
Goalkeeper Kosuke Fujigaya allowed two goals early in the first half and Ademilson’s consolation striker was not enough to salvage a symbolic road point.
