Sanfrecce Hiroshima on Saturday confirmed Kosei Shibasaki and Gakuto Notsuda will miss the rest of their FIFA Club World Cup campaign through injury.
The key midfield pair picked up the knocks in their 2-0 opening win against Auckland City, with Shibasaki needing three weeks to recover from a posterior cruciate ligament tear.
Notsuda will spend a lengthy two months sidelined on the other hand, after injuring his right medial collateral ligament in the rainy encounter at International Stadium Yokohama.
