Consadole Sapporo on Tuesday announced the signing of Yokohama F. Marinos midfielder Shingo Hyodo on a full transfer as well as the arrival of Omiya Ardija midfielder Tomonobu Yokoyama on a one-year loan.

Hyodo has played for F.Marinos since the 2008 season, making 18 appearances in the 2016 MEIJI YASUDA J1 League.

“I want to thank Consadole Sapporo for allowing me to take on a new challenge,” said Hyodo.

“I hope that both the team and I will improve this season. Beyond making sure we stay in the J1 I hope we can earn good results and give the fans something to celebrate at the end of the season.”

Yokoyama, who made 19 appearances for fifth-placed Ardija in their best-ever campaign, said: “I want to work hard and contribute to the team with my experience.
