Fans stand to be eligible for free match tickets as part of FC Machida Zelvia’s “National Sakura Invitation Project”, the club announced on Saturday.
With Japan’s iconic cherry blossoms (sakura) in bloom now, the club will offer free general admission tickets to anyone with the character for sakura in their first or last name.
Tickets will be issued for the 29th March game, when the MEIJI YASUDA J3 League side host Blaublitz Akita at Machida Athletic Stadium.
Zelvia currently sit fourth in Japan’s third tier, after opening their 2015 campaign with one win and a draw.
