Ryo Germain is still top of the Meiji Yasuda J1 League scoring chart, but only barely after Léo Ceará kept his phenomenal form going with another goal in Matchweek 11.
Léo Ceará converted from the spot to earn Cerezo Osaka a point and made it seven goals in the Sakura’s last six contests.
The Brazilian is now up to nine goals on the season, one off of Germain for the top spot.
Sanfrecce Hiroshima’s Yuki Ohashi remains in third place with eight goals, while the top five is rounded out by Anderson Lopes and Shahab Zahedi on six goals.
Lopes, last season’s joint Top Scorer, scored for Yokohama F·Marinos to put himself on six for the season, while Zahedi scored a spectacular long-range rocket to make it six in just seven starts since landing in Fukuoka.
