Léo Ceará scored yet again in Matchweek 21, taking him up to 15 goals on the season and extending his lead in the race for Top Scorer.

The Cerezo Osaka man scored the opening goal with a terrific individual effort that saw him pick up the ball near midfield, beat a defender and finish beautifully.

The Brazilian’s goal proved crucial as the Sakura raced to a 2-1 victory over Nagoya Grampus.

Léo Ceará has now scored 13 goals in Cerezo’s last 16 matches, nearly single-handedly thrusting Cerezo into the title race.

Elsewhere, Anderson Lopes remains second on the scoring chart with 12 goals, while Ryo Germain is a goal back with 11.

Yuma Suzuki and Marcelo Ryan round out the top five with 10 goals each.
