Two of the J.League's most electrifying attackers will go head-to-head on Saturday night at the Japan National Stadium, as Léo Ceará and Cerezo Osaka take on Anderson Lopes and Yokohama F·Marinos at 19:00 JST.
Ceará will be no stranger to his opponents, having won a title in Yokohama in 2022, but he has already created quite the legacy in just his second season in Osaka. The Brazilian has been magic for the Sakura in 2024 and currently leads the J1 scoring chart with 17 tallies to his name.
He'll be hoping to get on the scoresheet once again against an F·Marinos side that has been having a summer to remember, with things looking much brighter under interim manager John Hutchinson.
The Tricolor have won four of their last five in the league, with Lopes scoring in three of the team's last four.
Things couldn't be much more different in Osaka, where Cerezo have fallen off title pace and are winless across their last five.
Three big points are on the line this weekend, so be sure to tune in!
It's sure to be another electrifying Kokuritsu Day, with the broadcast shown live on JLeague.co and broadcasters around the world.
