Yu Hirakawa has been awarded the first Konami Monthly MVP of the 2024 season, giving him top player honors in the Meiji Yasuda J1 League for February and March.

The FC Machida Zelvia winger was fabulous for the newly-promoted side, helping lead them to the top of the table in their first-ever top flight campaign.

Hirakawa scored the lone goal in Zelvia’s 1-0 win over Kashima Antlers, taking a smart touch to put him in on goal before finishing smartly.

He had an even bigger impact against Sagan Tosu, picking up three assists in Machida's 3-1 win.

Top player honors in J2 were given to Gleyson, who scored two goals and added three assists as Fagiano Okayama jumped out to an undefeated start to the season that had them top of the table at the end of March.

FC Gifu’s Kosuke Fujioka won Konami Monthly MVP in the third division for his torrid February and March. He scored six goals and added an assist to pace J3 and put his club in first place when March came to a close.
