JEF United Chiba on Monday announced the release of veteran midfielder Seitaro Tomisawa.
The 34-year-old, who joined the club midway through the 2015 season, scored three goals in 21 appearances in the 2016 MEIJI YASUDA J2 League campaign.
“While I’m not happy with our results, it’s been an honor to wear the JEF United uniform. While my challenge unfortunately ends here,” Tomisawa said.
“I pray that the club will one day reach the end of its seven-year path to promotion. Thank you for your support throughout my time here.”
