The Japan Football Association on Tuesday announced its squad for the AFC Under-23 Championship 2018, which will take place in China next month.

The list features 20 J.League players, including Kawasaki Frontale midfielder Koji Miyoshi and Gamba Osaka youngster Ryo Hatsuse, who was recently called up to Japan’s EAFF E-1 Championship squad.

Japan will play against group stage opponents Palestine on January 10, Thailand on January 13, and DPR Korea on January 16, with all matches taking place at the Jiangyin Sports Center.
