Ryoma Watanabe has been awarded Konami Goal of the Month for April, a deserved honor for a spectacular finish by the F.C.Tokyo man that will never be forgotten.
Watanabe’s goal came in Matchweek 8, when he took a pass off the chest at a full sprint and, from the half-volley, smoked a shot that left the goalkeeper no chance.
Every part of that goal is astonishing and makes it not just the Konami Goal of the Month, but a contender for Goal of the Year.
In J2, the top honors went to Machida Zelvia for their brilliant team goal from a corner kick routine finished by Shunta Araki in Matchweek 10.
The best goal in J3 for April went to Ren Komatsu of Matsumoto Yamaga for his mind-blowing bicycle kick in Matchweek 6.
