The Japan Football Association on Wednesday announced Japan’s squad for the upcoming EAFF E-1 Championship Finals, which will take place next month in Tokyo.

The list of 23 players includes previous national team regulars such as midfielders Yasuyuki Konno and Hiroshi Kiyotake as well as newcomers including Gamba Osaka defender Ryo Hatsuse, Kashiwa Reysol attacker Junya Ito and Kawasaki Frontale striker Hiroyuki Abe.

Japan will play DPR Korea on December 9, China on December 12, and Korea Republic on December 16, with all three matches taking place at Ajinomoto Stadium.
