Yosuke Furukawa had an unbelievable June, highlighted by a tally that will be remembered for years as the #NextGenJLEAGUE star won Goal of the Month.

The 21-year-old struck in stoppage time of Júblio Iwata’s Matchweek 20 win over Tokyo Verdy. He picked up the ball in his own half and proceeded to race down the left. He ran past one defender, split two more and cut inside of a fourth before ripping a shot past a fifth and the goalkeeper.

Simply spectacular.

Taishi Taguchi won Goal of the Month for J2. The JEF United Chiba man’s brilliant spinning flick was a work of art and a deserving winner as the top goal.

Keisuke Ito won the award in J3. His magnificent blast on the full volley for S.C. Sagamihara was a strike to remember, and now he has a trophy for it.
