The Japan Football Association on Tuesday announced the country’s squad for the upcoming 2017 FIFA Under-20 World Cup South Korea, which kicks off on May 20.

At 15 years old, FC Tokyo U-18 striker Takefusa Kubo will make his FIFA tournament debut just over half a year after representing Japan in the 2016 AFC U-16 Championship.
