J.League has decided to award the Player of the Year, Best Eleven, and other prizes to players who have performed well this season.
The Player of the Year Award went to Tomoki Iwata of Yokohama F·Marinos. Tomoki Iwata is the fourth defender to win the award in 16 years and the fourth player in history for Yokohama F·Marinos.
Five players from Yokohama F·Marinos, who won the J1 title this season, have also been named in this year’s Best Eleven.
